Accounts and services originally with connectFirst are moving to the Servus banking system. The official conversion information explains that former connectFirst memberships will receive new Servus member numbers and that chequing and savings accounts will receive new account numbers.
The change does not mean that members must open replacement accounts or reapply for existing products. Exact timing and instructions should always be checked on the official Servus website.
Receiving a new Servus Member Card
Servus states that eligible former connectFirst cardholders can expect a new Servus Member Card before conversion when the applicable activity and mailing-address conditions are met. Joint cardholders' cards may be sent to the primary cardholder's address.
Keep a newly delivered card secure and follow the official instructions about when it can be used. If a card does not arrive, avoid relying on social-media messages or unofficial phone numbers. Use the Servus contact page or visit an official branch.
New member and account numbers
A member number identifies the membership and is different from the numbers assigned to individual chequing or savings accounts. After conversion, the new details should be available through official online or mobile banking and on statements.
Existing cheques, direct deposits and pre-authorized debits are expected to redirect according to the official conversion guidance. When setting up a new arrangement after conversion, use the new Servus information obtained from an official statement, online banking or a branch.
Safe next steps
Confirm that Servus has the correct mailing address through an official channel, keep both cards secure until the stated changeover, review the accounts displayed after conversion and contact Servus if something is missing or unfamiliar.
